After successfully installing the FILTRO – Slitting optimiser, INFORMA is proud to announce new mathematical algorithms to solve an NP-hard problem.
The new algorithm is facing a widespread BOPET quality product like isotropic. FILTRO was already able to take care of this constraint on the primary slitter, but it did not consider the following metallization phase.
The result: Informa proposed SRF a collaboration to improve this vital scenario. Today, we are very proud to say that the new algorithm improves the solution in terms of isotropic output.
INFORMA wants to thank SRF for executing many test cases to certify the excellent quality of the new algorithm.
